CRAZY STUFF!!!!!
Look what we have in our backyard! THREE hawks! I guess they are looking at the bunnies that live next door to us.
Then I tried something crazy - I straightened my hair. Elyse does it all the time, so I tried it. What do you think?

The hawks were amazing. I couldn't believe the squirrels were running around under the swing set with the hawks perched on top of it.
I love your curls, but your hair is beautiful straight or curly.
Awesome hawk pics! Those are just unreal. What a neat opportunity to learn about birds of prey while nature watching in your own backyard! All we have are wasps, LOL. Not as cool.
Hair adventures are always a good experiment! What did you use - curling iron? Flat iron?
Betsey - Dad took down the old shutters and the wasps came out in droves. I never saw him run so fast in all my life!
Hair? I used a flat iron from Elyse. I needed to use a curling iron on the bottom, but I didn't want to take the time. It was fuzzy at the ends. I think a curling iron would have solved that problem.
Yes, the hawks were cool. I couldn't believe they just sat there - they didn't look like they were interested in eating anything. We have a family of bunnies living next door. The other day, the hawks were on the ground searching under the trees for the bunnies. I haven't seen the bunnies in a few days, maybe they got them!
Hmm. I can never quite get my hair all the way straight, either. There's always some frizz and kinks.
