LOVELY WEEKEND!!!!!

Emily, Dan and George came for a visit this weekend. They arrived in time for dinner on Friday and left after lunch on Sunday.

The kids wanted to take Dan & Emily to our "zipline" near the lake. Some of us rode bikes, some walked. I remembered the camera (yay, for me). I took a video of both Dan & Emily on the zipline. It took us awhile to talk Dan into taking a ride. The first time Emily rode it, Zachary gave her a push. Scared the puddin' out of her.

Sunday morning, we decided that we would drive to the lake and see the sunrise. We left our house at 5:50, drove 11 miles to Lake Michigan and walked to the beach. These are the steps we had to climb to get down to the beach. Some of them were tipped and some had missing boards. I decided it was safer to walk next to the stairs on the grass. The younger ones dared the stairs the whole way - not me!


We arrived a little early. This is the lochness monster, or a whale or the stones to make you look like you are walking on water.

We had a tremendous service at church both on Good Friday and this morning. We enjoyed having Dan & Emily join us at church. What a blessing this weekend was in so many ways.
