We are letting the kids arrange and decorate their rooms any way they want (within reason, of course). Elyse has chosen a zebra pattern with pink highlights. We tried a string of lights for her room - they were white Christmas lights inside a pink flowered styrofoam ball. They didn't work at all. The 96" string was about 40" long. It would have required several extension cords and that would have ruined the look. So, we are taking those back. Now, on to her room:

Yep, I like it! Now all I have to do is knit the rug and paint the bookshelf! (the latter may not happen...)
