PIZZA, ANYONE?!!!!!
What happened? I don't know! Makes me so mad!
We are eating it anyway, wouldn't you?
Any ideas, I would love to hear them!
I took a fork and punched four holes around the side of the pizza and slowly pushed the crust down. It didn't crack, just pushed air out the sides.
The finished product:
It tasted fine! Go figure!

It was good. Maybe that's a mistake to make more often.
The "before" pic of the crust is definitely mystifying. Looks like you made a p'zone, with all the toppings on the INSIDE! But the "after" picture looks like deep dish Chicago-style pizza. Feel free to come make that "mistake" at my place any time! :)
love,

Elyse says: "Yeah, that was really good pizza. I just noticed something, Zachary, Mom & Dad are very slow eaters. I was done with my 1/4 of pizza and half of Mom's by the time Zachary & Dad were done with half of theirs. Guess how much Mom had finished."
I think you can avoid tht by making holes with a fork in the crust before baking it, like you would for a pie crust. However, I never do that with mine, and it has never expanded like that. Crazy yeast!
Elyse - sounds like Mom had finished 1/2 of 1/4th??

Um, that looks AWESOME. But I've never seen that happen before. Crazy. The finished product must have been outta this world!
