I will not put up the gory pictures, but just some of the steps I went through. First I had to mark the leg that was to receive the surgery. So, "X" marks the spot. "CS" is my surgeon. He marked the spot.

This paper gown had heat that I could regulate myself, which was good because the room was 58*. |

Post surgery, first meal, tasted awful. I was so nauseous. |

What Dad did while I slept! |

My first visitors, Pastor & Mary, such fun people. |

Another fun visitor (including "Brown Bear") |

Pastor & Mary brought me a bucket of goodies. I call the Reese's pieces my vitamins. Yum! |
|
Flowers from Luke's family - gorgeous! |

New leg because of foot drop. One therapy with this and the drop was gone! PTL! |

My view from my window that I didn't see until we were being discharged. It is hard to see out the window when you are lying down. |

Flowers from my Boo, plus smoothies, dinner and company! Thanks so much! |
The pain is almost gone. I had several days with no pain (I think the nerve blocker was still in force though). The nauseousness is gone as well (YAY!). I am eating better, food mostly tastes good which is a huge change from a few days ago.
Thanks to all who were praying for the surgery. I am so glad I can walk pain free.
If anyone wants to see the gory pictures, I have them. Just didn't want to scare you all off!
