AWARDS CEREMONY!!!!!
Today was Westlake Christian's Awards Ceremony. Zachary was quite the honoree. He got the National Physical Fitness Award (which is a patch to sew on something, plus a certificate). He got the High Honor Roll Award (which is for 4.0 or higher). The most impressive award was the Ninth Grade Most Outstanding Student. We are so proud!

Tonight everyone will be here for the Memorial Weekend Celebration. Zachary has a baseball game tonight. Tomorrow we will have our picnic at the park. Sunday we will worship our Lord at VCL. Monday, the last of the Mohican's returns home.
The weather has warmed up a bit - so we are praising the Lord for that. In fact, there isn't any rain in sight - a miracle for sure!

First year there and he's Most Outstanding Student??? He makes us so proud!!! And he makes us tear up a little. What a wonderful young man.

Betsey - the fitness award is something they did in PE. You'll have to ask Zachary for specifics.
