TO HAVE OR NOT TO HAVE!!!!!

I have wanted a coffee table for a long time, but didn't know if it was a wise purchase. So, when we reorganized our bedroom, we put Aunt Mabel's cedar chest in the living room to try it on for size. What do you think? Should we buy one or not?

Elyse decided to make a coffee table decoration - do you like it? It does add color to a colorless chest.

Lacey asked for some "full" shots of the living room so you can judge better. So, here they are (photographs by Zachary). He loves taking pictures from weird angles.

At the PCS Fun Fair, we are going to play "Pin the hair on Mr. Rumley." We took a picture of him, enlarged it to 16x20, and glued it on a piece of wood. The children throw velcro bean bags at the wood and see if they can put "hair" on Mr. Rumley. It is a cute game! At least we aren't actually throwing the bags at his real head! Come join us in all the fun on May 9th.

Good job on the centerpiece, Elyse! It's very colorful!

Mom - Can you post a picture that shows the whole living room with the coffee table in it? I'm having a hard time envisioning it from further away. Thanks! : - )

i think i like it, mamasita. it adds something to the middle of the room and gives us a place to play games or put together puzzles. :) more puzzles!

elyse's decoration is very nice. i made an art project as well, i'll have to show you a picture of it. it's kinda ugly, but i'm a young, aspiring artist, and if anybody insults it i'll just tell them they don't have the vision.

Erin - I'd love to see your art project. Although I doubt it compares to the wonders of my pottery. I mean, really. My, we are an artistic bunch!

Elyse - your artwork looks gorgeous! Can't wait to see it in person!

Zach - nice pictures. Good eye, mate. (ha, get it get it??)

Mom - I'll just hurt myself if you get one. It'll probably look nice, though. And be something to prop feet up on or use as firewood in the case of a snowed-in blizzard emergency.

Love you guys!

-Betsey
