STAYCATION CONTINUED!!!!!

Before we headed home, we stopped in Saugatuck, MI.  We went on the dune buggy rides and had lunch at Pumpernickel.

When on a guided tour, you know you are going to hear bad jokes.  This was the first thing we saw when we got there...

Getting ready to ride...

Several times the truck stopped so we could climb the dunes...

This one about killed Dad...it was almost straight up!

The ride included silly signs...

The scenery was amazing...

Lake Michigan...

Tobin will like this one:  The driver asked us what this crooked tree reminded him of - OHIO STATE!  It started out straight, but then turned crooked!

We made it!

Pumpernickel!

Elyse being silly...

Beautiful gardens!
After lunch, we walked around the town (to Zachary's chagrin).  I found an amazing store with every kitchen item you would want to buy.  I could spend days in there dreaming of a well-run kitchen.

That was super duper fun, the dune buggy stuff. Though, it was a tad scary, we all could have died....... but hey, whatevs. XD Some of the trees in the pictures, that look like separate trees, are actually just the top branches. It was really cool and weird thinking about that.
I don't recommend Pumpernickel's.... at all. Except for their chips. The chips were good.
