During the day, we took care of "R." Isn't he a cutie?
After "R" left, we piled in the car to head to the "Harvest Fest" at Westlake. "Z" had to be there early, so "E" and I waited in the car for Dad to arrive.

Guess who had charge of the camera? |
One of "Z's" booths was a jail. You paid two tickets to throw someone in jail. They had to stay five minutes unless they paid more tickets to get out sooner. Poor Mr. Lovelace (Bible teacher) spent most of his evening in jail. I tried to get a good picture, but all you can see is the back of "Z's" head.

More pictures of the jail... |
Since Tim is a substitute at Westlake, he knows some of the kids. Dad thinks this girl looks like Honor did in high school. Do you agree?
It was a fun night! We will head back there to pick up "Z" in about 1 1/2 hours. Fun times!

Is Harvest Fest kind of like a fun fair? The jail thing is a great idea. :) Poor Bible teacher, though.
Yes, Harvest Fest is almost the same as the Fun Fair at PCS. All the games are set up in the gym. It is really crowded, but everyone was having fun. We heard there was a hay ride and Elyse & I were going to go on that. When we got there, it was a John Deere riding lawn mower with a small trailer behind it. If Elyse & I had gotten in the trailer, it would have been full to overflowing. Of course, we decided to skip it. The food was in the cafeteria. That room is about three times bigger than PCS's. It was a fun night. Dad is heading out now to pick "Z" up. "Z" has to work the games AND clean up the gym. Hopefully, he will be done when Tim gets there.
Fun Night...very reminiscent of good days at PCS.
