A SAD DAY!!!!!
It was a sad day and a good day. Today, the students at PCS asked Dad to be in ALL their lunch hours. One of the groups had homemade cookies. Each student got a cookie, and Dad got a HUGE one. See picture:
Dad also received several cards (some with money and gift cards in it). Dad spoke in all the chapel hours today. It will be his last chapels at PCS. It will be hard to leave PCS, but it is time to move on and accomplish another of his goals in life. Hopefully, the house will sell, Betsey will get married, baseball will be over, homeschooling will be over and we will find a new place to live. That, in itself, brings on other choices. Where do we go to church, grocery shopping, car insurance, health insurance, gas stations, kids activities, meet new friends, find part time work and make it for three years. Phew! Typing it makes it seem impossible. But, God is faithful, He has never failed us yet.
Dad is heading to talk to the parents and students of the homeschool graduation that he is speaking at this Saturday. Saturday is also Paul's funeral. Saturday starts open houses for us. Some day soon, Lacey will have our fourth grandchild. Exciting times!
Tonight is the first night of Zachary's baseball tournament. If they win, they play on Friday. If they lose, we are done. It will be a late night as the game starts at 8:00. The rain seems to be holding off for us - that is much better than last night's game.
Hope all is well with you and yours. Have a super day!

So sad...leaving is always so hard. Well, any change for me is always hard. We love you!
Ooph. That's a lot of things to do. I knew y'all were going through a big change, but I hadn't thought of all those little details that will have to be worked out. Does the college offer insurance for everyone?
Is Dad still thinking about preaching as a part-time job?
Any news on selling the house?
Love you!
Oh...and that cookie looks AWESOME!
Goodbyes are so hard. Pretty soon, though, all the excitement of moving and change will arrive and the melancholy of leaving will be overwhelmed by it all!
Hah - job application stage...funny that my parents and I are both in that at the same time.
I'm so glad the students are doing their part to show appreciation for Dad. I am sure that means a lot to him.
Love!
- Betsey
