END OF YEAR!!!!!

Both Zachary and Elyse worked in CBC (Coached by Christ) at GBF (our church).  It is a program similar to AWANA but on a much smaller scale.  Zachary was in charge of song time.  He enlisted (read coerced) help from Elyse and Emma.

IT'S "PI" DAY!!!!!

Since it is "PI" day, we splurged and made a pie.  It was yummy!  Peanut Butter Cream w/Ganache!

We also tried a new main dish - Curried Chicken and Rice.  It also was yummy!

IS GMA CRAZY OR NOT!!!!!

Luke's family came over for piano lessons and dinner.  We were keeping the kids for the night.  I read a crazy idea on a blog and thought I would try it with the family.  You use Jello Jigglers and try to get them from your forehead to your mouth without using your hands.  We have NEVER laughed so hard in our lives.  It was great fun!  However, next time (if there ever is a next time), we will use a Jello that doesn't leave a stain - we were all red forever!

 

Jaden was the all time winner - he accomplished the task three times!  He was the most red, obviously!  The following video is "A View from Jaden!"

HIS FIRST!!!!!

"Z" is heading off for his first ACT test.  He can only take in pencils, eraser and a calculator.  No phone, no food, no water, no backpack.  I guess they think he will cheat, huh?

The bottom picture is me sliding off the porch (thankfully, I didn't break anything).  Zachary is ready to go and hopes to get a 36!  We are praying for his concentration, taking his time and doing his best.  If a 36 is in the running - go for it!
