A SUPER WEEKEND!

All my children (sounds like a soap opera) were here except "D." Enjoyed every minute. The babies are so cute! It was such fun to have them all to ourselves on Monday morning (we let Mom & Dad sleep in a little). Great food! Fun games! Always laughing! Good times!

We will see some of you again this weekend! "L" do you want "Z" at your house on Saturday, or do you want me to take him with me? I will have to have "E" with me because she needs clothes. But, "Z" would like to spend the day with you and "G." Let me know!

THE PARKING LOT!

Yep, that is what we have. A parking lot. We bought "B" a "new" car yesterday. It is a '98 Saturn SL1 (just like "Em's", but one year newer). So, we have two Saturns and one Prizm in the driveway. On Sunday, we will have another van. "B's" car has WORKING air conditioning, but twice the miles that "Em's" car has. We thought "Em" would be jealous, but it was "Er." Sorry guys, we can't keep everything even. This will be a great weekend. Everyone will be home. We start with a picnic today at the Mahler's house. "T" speaks at IMBC tomorrow. Then our family picnic on Monday.

A VERY GOOD DAY!!!!!

Today is a GREAT day!

1. School is over!
2. "B" is subbing at PCS, that means money.
3. "B" is back at Oil Xperts - they love her.
4. Er will be home soon.
5. Em will be home soon.
6. We will be looking at a car during lunch for "B".
7. All children will be home this weekend, except Dan-O.

Looking forward to summer and our trip! Exciting times.

SCHOOL'S OUT FOR SUMMER!!!!!

Actually, four more days and we are done. We have a field trip on Thursday. Jon & Tim are going to Uncle Bud's funeral on Tuesday. Er will be home Friday - YEAH! Cookout on Saturday and Monday (love picnics). TCR preaches at IMBC on Sunday. We buy our new books for next year on Tuesday (Christmas in May). That is our week in a nutshell (actually a nuthouse).

BUSY FRIDAY!

On Friday, I get to pick up Betsey - YEAH! We also have swimming lessons, help Emily with her wedding dress (first fitting), get Emily's hair done (trial for the wedding), try to find Elyse a dress for the wedding, then dinner and the PCS musical. That will take from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. I thought life got easier as you got older - guess not!

I'M NOT DEAD YET!

Not dead yet, just snotty! On drugs! Higher than a kite! Woo-hoo (literally).

SUPER SUNDAY!

Not counting missing Er & B, Sunday was the BEST Mother's Day ever! We went to GR for Caleb's dedication. Precious ceremony. From church to Olive Garden (all 14 of us). Then to L & L's for pretzel salad & Vernors (yea!). Then Em showed up. We opened presents. I got a package of my favorite gum AND a battery tester. There is a story there, you will have to ask! On Saturday, they gave me a pot of flowers for the deck - but they wouldn't travel too well to GR. We are tired now, but enjoyed the day tremendously.

Today, I go see Dr. Mark. Hopefully, this will be the beginning of the end for my coughing. I am sick of it!

Missed you, Dan-O, at our celebration! Heard you were coming, but changed your mind because you don't like us. Fine, just fine!

ANOTHER WINNER!

"H" got the Pacer Award last night at the Athletic Banquet for christian character. She was so pleased. It used to be called Pacesetter Award.

Today is the Walk-a-thon and it is raining cats and dogs. Pray it will not keep them from walking. This is a good fundraiser.

LITTLE MAN IS GROWING UP!!!!!

Z cut his first lawn tonight. Remember those days, L? You couldn't wait to get at that machine. Now that you HAVE to get at that machine, you don't want to. Although it would help to have some grass to cut and to own a machine. It was so cute to see him pushing the mower - the handle was over his head, but he kept on trucking. Where is the video camera when you need it?

I cleaned out the grill tonight. Two birds had built two nests in it. After cleaning it, I had to clean the deck off. Now all we need is gas in the tank and we are in business. Can't wait for BBQ chicken on the grill!

Eleven more days of school (sorry Er!). Order new books on the 30th - Christmas in June!

Tonight is "Season to Season" at FEBC. Too sick to go. Dad has one meeting tonight.

Wednesday is DIA for "H."

Thursday is the Athletic Banquet (only Dad & H are going).

Saturday is Brookfield Zoo for "H" with FEBC. Dad has two meetings. "H" goes to Overvall's till Monday morning.

Sunday is Caleb's dedication - YEAH!

So far, next week is empty. Does anyone care to plan our week for us? The PCS musical is Friday and Saturday (the 19th and 20th), other than that, we have nothing to do next week.

GRADUATION!

Graduation was super! So proud of our E & D. Got to meet up with D's folks again. She was much more at home and talked a blue streak to me (it was wonderful). I like it when people feel free to speak their mind and aren't afraid to yap at me. It was great to see G & C too. Such cuties! L & L you are doing a GREAT job! Loved seeing everyone. On Monday - I will be driving back to GR. I guess E would like a chair or two to sit on. See you Monday!

Tomorrow #2 graduates! Woohoo! And did she do good. YES, if I do say so myself. CU was lucky to have her, let me tell you! Our #2 in-law also graduates! Have we got smart kids or what?

Yep, you read right. E picked out and ORDERED her dress today. Most dresses were o.k. or whatever you want, but this one is a WOW and double WOW! This is it! The bridesmaids dresses will be ordered on Saturday (after graduation). Prepare yourselves to get measured Saturday, girls. YEAH!!!!!
