Zachary went to Navy Seal's Camp with 11 other Hope students.  He had a great time, worked hard and doesn't want to do it again.

Far left is "Z" listening to instructions...

Far right w/darker shirt on - no glasses...

Right back...after a soaking boat ride...

Getting his award...

This is it!

"Z" & Mr. Verr @ Lincoln Memorial - notice the defacement - so sad!

What facial hair looks like after 10 days of not shaving!

It is good to have him back doing what he does best - being my chauffeur.

Elyse went to her first all night Lock-In last night at VCL.  She had a great time.  She got some war injuries.

A leader stepped on her neck after she fell...

Rug burns from playing games...

More bruises from the leader stepping on her neck (it WAS an accident)...

I'm not tired!

I have the kitchen/dining room finished.  We think we like the table in the kitchen - you may not.  We are using the real "dining room" as a school room/office.  It has the look of the basement from the townhouse.  Pictures to follow when I get it done.

Nice and bright!  Need to wash the window - it's filthy!

Master Bedroom - morning sun, gorgeous today!

I need to finish the school/office room and then start on the 4th bedroom.  I know, it isn't a bedroom, but it will be a surprise room.  The GRANDS will LOVE it!

What do you think so far?

The move has happened.  We are still unpacking and organizing, but thought you would enjoy some of the latest.

We have a very nice place to have a picnic, right in our front yard.  It is actually a city park, but we can call it our own.

Our first picnic in "our" front yard.
Zachary's bedroom - or the music room.
Elyse's room.

We let the kids unpack their own rooms and set them up like they wanted.  Zachary isn't done yet because he had to go to the Navy Seal's Camp.  He can finish his bedroom (alias the music room) next week.

I will post more pictures when we finish unpacking.  Come visit our new home!  The teapot is always waiting to serve!

The boy has skipped town.  He will be gone until Sunday, July 28th.  If you think about it, pray for his safety, education, and getting to know the guys.  He will see Gettysburg on the way down, and Washington, D.C. on the way back. Loading up...

Nighteen people helped us move on Saturday.  We are so grateful for each one of them.  From the littlest to the strongest.  Everyone helped!  Everyone worked so hard!

I think the boxes were the biggest hit with the grands.  Jaden made a car out of one of them.  It was hard to zoom around everything, but he managed.

Boxes are so much fun!
Silly helpers!
Love this boy - he was such a good helper with the plastic...

All by myself, no room for passengers!
Zachary's MUSIC room (there is a bed in there somewhere)
A left-handed guitar loaned to Zachary from a friend...

Now to unpack it all!  It is a slow process, but we are getting there.

Thanks to all who helped us move:  Tim, Sue, Zachary, Elyse, Luke, Lacey, Grace, Caleb, Ava, Jaden, Dan, Emily, Dennis & Barb Vietmier, Jim & Evy Stamoolis, Susan Eclov, Gary Newell and Chatham Hedges!

Thanks to all who helped clean up the townhouse:  Tim, Sue, Zachary, Elyse, Pamela Hedges & Annette Postma.
