THE BOY!!!!!

Zachary was named "Student of the Month."  What an honor!  Glad someone else thinks he is something besides us!  Notice he is "hot!"

Smarty pants!

A "free" t-shirt is always a plus!

Remember these?  It is about time we got them up on the wall!  So pleased!

It has taken so long to put these up, that we need new pictures of each family.  Hint, hint!  Please make them 5x7's.  Thanks!

Elyse knitted me a shawl - isn't it gorgeous?

When unpacking our boxes, I found a puzzle I had never seen before.  Tim & I put it together - but I forgot to take a picture of it.  Your loss!

This is my birthday puzzle from Tim.  He helped me put it together.

Lazy Days...

Our first visitors (actually this is the second time they came to see us).

"What you talkin' 'bout, Willis?"

Presents...Piano solo book, ESV Study Bible!

Elyse knitted me a pair of socks (very soft and so stylish)!

Zachary & Elyse made me homemade cards.  Tim got me a very nice card as well.  A very fun evening for us all!  Thanks to all that helped make my birthday one to remember.

HE'S 16!!!!!

Yes, the boy is 16!  We forgot to take a picture of the food before we ate it.  His choices were Chicken Casserole over rice, Fried Green Beans with Mushrooms, Vernors and Hot Apple Cider for dessert.

The finished product...

A very nice card from Elyse...

He even gave her a hug - this picture will go on his wedding slide show!

Pretty girl...

Zachary got a ton of small items...

And a certificate...

The food was very good!  The best part was drinking the Hot Apple Cider while we played Uno.

Next is his driver's license.  It has been a real hassle to get it because of taking training in Illinois.  But, we hope to have it all worked out this week.

The church we are attending had a Valentine Banquet last night.  The youth group put it on.  It was not only a night out for the couples, but a fundraiser for the mission trip the youth are taking this summer.  The youth cooked the food, served it (by taking orders) and cleaned up.  Even though Zachary isn't part of the youth group (he goes to Chapel Pointe's youth group), he decided to attend anyway and help out.  Elyse knitted them bow ties - aren't they cute?

Our lovely servers...

If you are keeping track - my dress is a dress I ordered long ago in Chicago.  It didn't fit, so I sent it back.  But, after 29 pounds gone, I decided to order it again.  IT FITS!!!!!  In fact, it is almost too big.  Isn't that amazing?

It was a nice quiet dinner.  Four people were seated at each round table.  Zachary and two other people entertained us with their guitars, piano and singing (Zachary didn't sing though).  It was a very nice evening.
