WE'RE GOING TO MILWAUKEE ON THE TRAIN!!!!!

This time, we actually went to Milwaukee.  But, we drove instead of taking the train (which I am not sure exists anyway).

Zachary was off school today because of MLK day.  We decided to take the day off school too.  We took a drive to the Milwaukee Public Museum.  It is HUGE!  Four floors to cover.  We got too tired to finish it all, but it was a great time anyway.

We took our newest friends' children with us.  Sarah is 10th grade, and Alex is 7th grade.  Both of their parents work, so this was nice for them not to have to stay home alone.

Elyse trying her best to lift this thing...

The next few pictures - can you tell who had the camera?

Dumb, dumb, I want some gum, gum...
How would you like to wear this?
Look closely and you can see her baby hanging on...

He landed right on my finger - so cool, yet so funny feeling.
Still decorated for Christmas!
Our friends had a membership to this museum.  The guy let us in free too (that saved us $32).  Then you could get your parking ticket validated if you had a membership.  So, instead of paying $20, I only had to pay $5.  Such a deal!

We ended our journey at Biggby's in Kenosha.  I had a coupon for BOGO.  I got three drinks for $4.39 (thanks L & L for the gift card).

We didn't have to fix dinner tonight because our friends (above) gave us the leftover pizza from our dinner last night with them.  It sure was a great day at nearly no cost to us!  Fun times!

#3

This was the hardest puzzle yet.  It was challenging, but not so hard that I didn't want to finish it.  If you look closely, you will notice that ALL the colors are the same!  It took me awhile, but I did it!  Elyse put in about 10 pieces.  Zachary put in two edge pieces that I couldn't find.  It was a fun few days!  Thanks L & L!

#2 COMPLETE

Last night was pizza/movie night.  We picked out two videos from the library because we weren't sure of either one.  After ten minutes in each movie, we decided they weren't worth our time.  So, we worked on my second puzzle.  Dad really helped this time.  Elyse wants you to know that she put in ten pieces.

Another one bites the dust!  It was a crazy pattern, but we succeeded.  Just when you think you had the right piece, you noticed it wasn't the right color (even though it fit in the place you put it).  Frustrating!

Puzzle #3 will have to wait awhile.

CONSPIRACY!!!!!

I finished one of my Christmas puzzles today.  Zachary put in a few pieces, Dad found pieces we hunted for and couldn't find, Elyse helped a lot, but I did most of the work.  This one is from L & L's family.  I think it is a conspiracy.  It is payback time for our Thanksgiving puzzle contest.  Do you agree?

TA-DA!!!!!

Dad, Zachary, Elyse and I put this together in two days...

I'll start another one in a few days - my back needs a rest!
