Thanksgiving - thankfully it is a day of thanking! We had 12 people for Turkey Dinner. The turkey took five hours to cook - in a bag - someone (unnamed at the moment) forgot to turn the oven on. After waiting forever, we ate all the trimmings first, then had a second course of turkey when it got done.
Poor Grace, Caleb, Luke and Emily were all sick. It was a long night for Lacey! Hopefully our taking a turn at 5:15 a.m. helped her get "some" rest.
Sales, sales, sales. The crazy girls went shopping this morning. They still aren't back and it is 10:30 a.m. Did the car break down? Did they fall asleep on the side of the road (hopefully they stopped first). Did they find good deals and couldn't
pull themselves away from the stores? Where are they?
Today we are heading to Michigan City to have dessert with Jon & Nona's family. They live so close, and yet so far away. We just don't see enough of them.
We are also going to the bookstore in Michigan. Don't ask questions at Christmas time!
Now, Erin, you can quit yelling at me - here is an update - such as it is.
