UPDATE!

Er always yells for an update - so here it is!

The Saturn is fixed (everything but the air conditioning). It is a noisy car, but not as bad as the Tracker was.

"Christmas in April" is today. Dad is fixing Jim Hoggard's house (small world).

Next week the college girls come home - YEAH! B on Thursday, Er on Friday. Graduation for CU on Saturday.

Hyo-Sun comes home on Sunday.

It will be a crowded house for a few weeks. Love it!

WE'RE MISSING ONE CHILD!

"H" left at 7:00 a.m. today. She will be in California for 10 days. She will return on Sunday, May 7, at midnight (actually, she will arrive home at 3:00 a.m. on Monday morning). Dad & El are sick with colds. College days are coming to an end. It will be a crowded house very soon! We miss our kids!

SUCH A GENIUS!!!!!

I knew she had it. I knew she could do it. Yep, she did it. Emily got the highest award from the Math Department. It is about time CU figured out what we already knew. The glowing report she received was awesome - I wish I could have recorded it. Her award was a stack of math books, several hundred dollars worth - Emily was thrilled. The books were heavier than she was, the whole place cracked up when she tried to lift them. I took pictures! Will post them at a later date. Great job, Emily! Dad & I are so proud.

Good weekend (or should I say Good Sunday-Tuesday). It was fun, tiring and worth it all.

BUSY, BUSY!

Another busy weekend ahead of us. Church on Sunday, drop "H" off, drive to GR, drive home, drive to "E's" Honors Convocation, then drive home again. Have a "birthday" party for "L" (although the actual day was a week ago). Wedding plans. Graduation plans. Going away party. Finish school strong. Whew! I am tired already. Have a super God-filled day!

WE MADE IT!!!!!

The weekend is over and we made it. We had 11 people here for the weekend. Much was planned for the wedding in the fall. The Grace kids, B & E had a super time in Chicago. We purchased Keith's car (needs a little work, but it got 36 mpg). Spent the night at Gma's on Sunday. Came home to a HUGE mess! It will take a few days to catch up, but we can do it.

I will work on your list this week, Em. Right now it is overwhelming. When I catch up with the house work, it will not be a problem.

Have a super week everyone!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!

Happy Birthday to my "Tiny Tim." Can't believe 25 years has passed. Time flies even if you aren't having fun. Alot has happened in 25 years. Six children, one daughter-in-law, one son-in-law to be, two grandchildren, one saluatorian, three valedictorians, 8 houses, three major jobs, homeschooling, many cars, etc. I get winded just typing it.

We are planning our summer road trip. Many possibilities. Praying for an exciting trip and learning much. The break will be great and much needed.

When I think of something better to say - I'll be back!

BUSY WEEK! and WEEKEND!

Friday - visited by 5 Grace students, one Rose, one PCS, two homeschooled, two CU and two parents - that makes 13 here for the weekend. Good Friday service!

Saturday - morning meetings, visit four Gazebos.

Sunday - Easter service, Rose leaves, Grace 5 leave, CU leave - the other 5 head to Michigan.

Monday - Check out car for Em. Back home in Indiana. PCS board meeting.

Does it get any easier? I thought old age would ease the tension - guess not!

HE ASKED!!!!!

No, it's not the "Wood Duck Story" or "Ira Sleeps Over," but our own Dan-O. It is finally official, Emily is engaged. There is even a ring involved, he must be serious. Exciting times ahead.
