FINALLY!!!!!
IT IS FINISHED!!!!! It took forEVER, but it is finally done. Thanks Erin & Tobin for giving me something to do! Dan helped with a few pieces. Zachary did too. Mostly, it was done by me. I know you can't see it, but there are 12 things hidden in this puzzle. The puzzle is so long, I couldn't get it all in the picture. The left side goes out another inch or so.
Emily will start working part time on Monday, February 1. She will do two weeks of four-hour days, then two weeks of six-hour days, and finally full time. Dr. F. says she should be able to drive in a month (which would be February 20). Therapy is still two days a week. Emily is improving every day. She is able to do housework, grocery shopping and meal preparation.
Please pray for our friend, Ruthie Benson. She will be meeting her Savior very soon. She is such a prayer warrior - she has prayed for our family each and every day. She will be missed!

SLEDDING & FOURTH ONE DONE!!!!!
We took the kids sledding. We had to watch them carefully because a kid died on that hill last week (he hit a tree). If you look beyond where the kids are at the bottom of the hill, that is where the kid went down and hit the tree. Zachary tried that hill once, and Dad told him not to use it again.
Team work gets you up the hill faster!
Puzzle #4: This one was the hardest one yet. I only worked a few minutes at a time on it because it was so maddening. It was so hard, I couldn't even do the edges. I had to do each box separately and fit them together.
Tim was here for the weekend. He left after lunch today (Sunday) and stopped by the Portage house to check on things. There was over two feet of snow there. At least the driveway was shoveled. We have a showing on Tuesday. Maybe this will be it - we can at least hope and pray to that extent.

THIRD ONE DONE!!!!!
Emily & Dan took George to the vet and went grocery shopping. While they were gone, I started puzzle #3. I stopped for lunch and clean up - then went right back to it. Here is the finished product:
In case you can't tell from the picture, the puzzle is a man holding his jacket open with a huge amount of buttons pinned on his shirt and inside of his jacket. It was a little hard doing this one, but I made it.
I know you are sick of seeing puzzles that are put together, but Betsey told me to send her proof that I finished each and every one of them. I will post the rest when I get them done as well.
We are having a relaxing day today - hope you are too!
SECOND ONE DONE!!!!!
This time I had a little help. Zachary put in two pieces. Emily told me where one went, but didn't actually put any in. Dan put in about five pieces. It was a very hard puzzle to do. As long as there were words to read, those were easy to put together. The rest of it was pretty hard.
Monday, we start school again. Puzzles will not be put together as fast.
Have a Happy New Year!
