SANDY!!!!!

We were so scared, the waves were HUGE (not)...here is what our side of Lake Michigan looks like.  Scary, huh?

I guess most of the wind and waves were on the Indiana/Michigan side.  Hope someone got pictures of that.

GOD'S CREATION!!!!!

The wind woke me up at 2:24 a.m.  It blew through every single crack in the house.  It was eery. 

HARVEST FEST!!!!!

During the day, we took care of "R."  Isn't he a cutie?

After "R" left, we piled in the car to head to the "Harvest Fest" at Westlake.  "Z" had to be there early, so "E" and I waited in the car for Dad to arrive.

Guess who had charge of the camera?

 One of "Z's" booths was a jail.  You paid two tickets to throw someone in jail.  They had to stay five minutes unless they paid more tickets to get out sooner.  Poor Mr. Lovelace (Bible teacher) spent most of his evening in jail.  I tried to get a good picture, but all you can see is the back of "Z's" head.

 Since Tim is a substitute at Westlake, he knows some of the kids.  Dad thinks this girl looks like Honor did in high school.  Do you agree?

It was a fun night!  We will head back there to pick up "Z" in about 1 1/2 hours.  Fun times!

DAY OFF!!!!!

What do you do when one child is off school and the other one isn't?

You finish school really quick and then go play putt-putt golf (the glow in the dark kind)!

I actually left the kids to play golf, while I walked two laps of the mall.  I told the attendant NOT to let them fight.  He just smiled.  BTW, if you want any art work done - the attendant was amaZing!

After this, we headed to Betsey's school to see her room, etc.  She really has some neat techno stuff - the grands loved playing with it.  The day was topped off at a Mexican restaurant.  What a crowd we were.  Jaden & Bristol were so cute together.  It was nice for Jaden to have someone to hang with - the pecking order just increased.
